At MaudCare, advocacy isn’t just something we do – it’s part of who we are.
Over the years, we’ve supported many of our participants to successfully access and increase additional NDIS funding, helping them unlock more hours, specialised supports, or expanded access to programs.
We’ve done this by working alongside families, support coordinators, and therapy teams to prepare and submit strong, evidence-based requests and we’re proud to have a 100% success rate in every funding increase application we’ve supported.
Each month, we send out detailed participant update emails to families and support coordinators. These emails include photos, summaries of activities, and observations of progress, which provide the NDIS with valuable insight into how our programs benefit each individual.
These regular updates become powerful tools in demonstrating outcomes, skill-building, and meaningful community engagement, all essential elements the NDIS considers in funding increase decisions.
We also provide letters of recommendation, progress summaries, and behavioural or capacity reports where needed to strengthen participant applications. What sets us apart is our proactive approach, we don’t wait to be asked. When we see growth, need, or potential for more support, we reach out to the team to act.
Many families and support coordinators are unaware that a service like MaudCare can play such a key role in funding advocacy. But the reality is: the NDIS takes the voice of a service provider very seriously, especially one that works closely and consistently with the participant. When we share firsthand accounts of development, challenges, or the value of our tailored programs, it gives the NDIS tangible evidence that supports change.
Maudcare is an NDIS provider offering Support Services for people with a disability.
